Phyllis G. Decker Grafton – Phyllis G. Decker passed away at home on May 8, 2021. Born in Albany to the late Clarence C. and Grace Williams Beach, she lived in Albany until 1951. Phyllis married her loving husband, Allen E. Decker and shared 67 years of marriage in their Eagle Mills home prior to his passing in 2018. Phyllis was a graduate of Albany High School and was employed with the NY Telephone Company prior to her marriage. Phyllis enjoyed bowling, fishing, and spending time at her summer home on Lake Champlain. Loving mother of Beverly (Ernest) Benoit and Barbara Treiber: grandmother of Jeffrey Treiber, Kimberly (Steven) Beaudry, Gregory (Kayla) Benoit, Amanda (Daniel Siksay) Benoit and great- grandmother of Steven Beaudry III. Phyllis was the sister of Frank C. Beach and Norma McKinney. Loving sister in-law of Laura Masotti and was predeceased by her in-laws John and Harriet Decker, Jack Decker, Jim Decker, Bea Jennings, Olive Sommer, and Eva Lawrence. Phyllis is also survived by several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in Eagle Mills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Friends of Dyken Pond, 475 Dyken Pond Road, Cropseyville, NY 12052 in memory of Phyllis Decker would be greatly appreciated.
