Sheila M. Colbert

Shelia M. Colbert passed away on June 10, 2024. Sheila was the daughter of the late James and Ann Costello Colbert and was a lifelong resident of Watervliet.

Sheila was retired from the State of New York following a successful career in office administration. A parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Watervliet, Sheila enjoyed laughter and happiness with her family and friends. Survivors include her loving and devoted brother Kerin (Jera) Colbert; her sister in-law Pauline Colbert, two nieces; Kelly and Nicole, and several cousins and numerous dear friends including her dear friends, Joan Millington, Julia King Jeff and Leslie Foster, Walter and Ellen Clickner. In addition to her parents, Sheila was predeceased by her sisters Sally Colbert, her twin sister Pat Colbert and her brothers James and Daniel Colbert.

At Sheila's request, funeral services were held privately.

The family would like to thank the staff at Shaker Place for the wonderful care provided to Sheila. Burial was in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Watervliet in the family plot. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a random act of kindness for someone in need.
