Lisa Ann Tallman passed away with her loving family by her side at her home on April 26th, 2023. Daughter of the late Richard and Patricia Collins-Bennett. Beloved wife of Michael Tallman whom she shared 36 years of marriage.
In addition to her husband, Lisa Ann is survived by her children Jessica Tallman and Karissa (Joshua) Craver; her Grandchildren: Derek, Tyler, Hunter (aka "Jellybean"), Ciara, Gabriella, and Landon. Also survived by her niece Cassandra (Kris) Scarano and their children Natalia and Nathan.
Lisa was the type of person who would light up the room with her energy and her smile. She would give you the shirt off her back whether you were family or not. She was a shoulder to cry on, a hug to embrace you, and an ear to lend when you needed it. The most important thing in her life was her family…..and her favorite show General Hospital. She loved being outside with her grandkids both here in New York and when she would visit her other grandkids in Myrtle Beach. If there was sunshine and warm temperatures she was there. She was a bit of an adrenaline junkie. Thankfully she wasn’t alone in that thanks to her oldest daughter Jessica. They would get off one rollercoaster and hop right back in line. When she wasn’t getting her adrenaline fix she was at home with her loving husband. Whether she was sitting there listening to his Ted talk of the day, or enjoying dinner while watching their shows like the perfectly imperfect old couple they were, she loved just being in the moment. She was the type that always had to stay busy. After her mother (Patricia) passed away, Lisa decided to go back to school and worked very hard to get her Associates in Business and Marketing. She loved learning new things and had considered going back to get her Bachelor’s before her cancer diagnosis. From blasting Journey to Kelly Clarkson or sitting with Karissa watching their favorite Hallmark movies, Lisa loved spending time with the people who made her the happiest. For anyone who truly knew her, when she became a grandma it was game over for her girls. Her grandkids were her entire world, and they knew it. She lived a life full of love and she will forever be missed and loved for eternity.
