Kevin Hoffman , 58
To know him was to love him
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Kevin Hoffman. He passed away on December 4th, 2024 while walking home from church. A beloved brother, Uncle, friend and neighbor, he was a kind selfless and thoughtful man, who touched the lives of all who knew him. A true Testament to the good that can exist in humanity. His gentle, childlike spirit will be greatly missed.
Kevin was a big fan of football and often enjoyed to watch the game, cheering for the Giants, his favorite team, and enjoyed a good pipe smoke. He was close with God and it was important for him to frequently attend mass at the Cathedral near his home. He lived simply and lovingly, enjoying the little things in life. He always knew how to make you laugh and brought back the sparkle of childhood and a simple, love filled life.
He so cherished his family, friends, neighbors and community of nearly 30 years( including their dogs, who he always had treats for) greatly valuing the relationships he built along the way. He spoke only with kindness and respect, valuing morality and the importance of seeing the good in one another. His warm caring nature reminds us all to be kind and share love and joy wherever we go. He left an impression on all who knew him. He lived intently and shaped his life with meaning and wanted others to do the same. He wanted nothing and gave everything.
