Kathleen J. Harrington

Kathleen (Kathie) J. Harrington passed peacefully on November 25, 2024, in the home of her daughter, Rachael, after a yearlong battle with cancer. Kathleen was a voracious reader, a lover of all animals and a fiercely proud and loving grandmother.

If Kathleen would want you to know anything about her life, she would want you to know how much she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Susan Coraldi (Frank) and brother,Thomas (Toni) Conlin Jr.; her children Michael (Lisa) Tallman, Jennifer (Tallman) Setford, Rachael (Anthony) Littlejohn and Shannon (Raminta) Tallman; her beloved grandchildren Jessica, Nesta, Cassandra, Myles, Silas and Karissa; as well as her five great-grandchildren. Kathie also leaves behind her Aunt Peggy (Howard) Coons, whom she loved dearly. She was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband Charles Harrington and her parents Thomas and Joan Conlin. The family would like to acknowledge the endless support they received from Community Hospice during Kathleen's final days and thank them for helping bring peace to their mother. A special thank you to cousins Amy Reach and Lauren Kaplan, as well as her son-in-law, Anthony, who went above and beyond in assisting with her care, with grace and compassion.

The family ask that, in lieu of flowers, donations be sent in Kathleen's name to The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, where she rescued many companions over the years. At Kathleen's request, all services were held privately.
