George Baker

George Raymond Baker passed away peacefully on January 19, 2023, following a brief illness. George was born on Indian Ladder Farm, Altamont on 7/13/1945. He was a civil servant, serving as a client advocate at Hudson Mohawk Recovery and was an EMT. George was an artist, carving wood from found materials, alongside his late wife, Mary Wolfe Baker (Glorious Day Enterprises) Survivors include Kara Strutz and Karl Shumway.

A memorial service is planned for Sunday, April 16, 2023 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. in the Cohoes Senior Center, 10 Cayuga Plaza, Cohoes NY
