Christine Mary Mink-Remkus

 Christine M. Mink-Remkus passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 9, 2019.  Christine was born in Albany to the late Viola and George Szelest Mink and was the loving wife of Charles J. Remkus.

Christine enjoyed frequent trips to Las Vegas and loved to dance. Most of all Christine cherished her family. Prior to her retirement, Christine was a credit manager for Sears in Colonie

In addition to her husband Charles, she is survived by her cherished children Christina M. (Ron) Cheetham Colon, Joseph M. (Annie) Cheetham and her beloved granddaughter Alexis Cheetham.  Christine was the loving sister of Stephen (Jean) Mink, Dennis (Lisa) Mink and Cynthia (Robert) Mink- McGraw; devoted aunt of David (Katie) Mink, Andrew Mink, Nicole McGraw and Daniel McGraw.

Family and friends are invited to visit with Christine’s family on Friday, February 15, 4 to 7 p.m. in Konicek & Collett Funeral Home, LLC, 1855 12th Avenue, Watervliet, NY 12189. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 16 at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
