Brian P Cassidy

Cassidy, Brian P. (June 5, 1957 - July 6, 2021) Troy- Brian Cassidy of Troy, NY passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, July 6th, 2021. Brian was the son of the late Dr. James J. and Nancy N. Cassidy, and the beloved husband of Kathleen Ryan Cassidy. In addition to his wife, Brian was survived by his five children: Caitlin (Jairo) Ramalho, Meaghan (Eric) Benson, Ryan (Jennifer Wenzel) Cassidy, Colleen (Donald) Reilly, and Kevin Cassidy; his five grandchildren: Ava, Sarah, and James Benson, and Eleonora and Corina Ramalho; his four siblings: Rea Cassidy, Moira Cassidy, Brendan Cassidy, and Martha (Jeremy) Kerr. Survivors also include a number of nieces and nephews, countless cousins, and a legion of dear friends. In addition to Brian’s parents, he is predeceased by his mother- and father-in-law, Thomas J. and Joan G. Ryan. Family and friends may call at the Daniel D. Purcell Funeral Home in Troy this Friday, July 9th, from 4-7p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30a.m. on Saturday, July 10th, at Christ Sun of Justice Church in Troy.
