Audrey June Meineker

Meineker, Audrey, J. Meineker, Audrey J. - Troy - Audrey J. Meineker, 90, died on Thursday, March 2, 2017 with her loving family by her side. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John and Ethel (Moak) Hotaling. Mrs. Meineker was the wife of the late Richard P. Meineker. A member of the First United Methodist Church of Voorheesville, Mrs. Meineker was also past president and life member of both the New Salem Fire Department Auxiliary and the Delmar Fire Department Auxiliary. Audrey was a member of the Troy "Y" Girls. Survivors include her daughters Mary Ann (Mark) Yamin, Betsy (Frank) Chandler, Jill (Bob) Junco, Grandchildren Courtney Fuglein, Mandy (Mark) Dyer, Heather (Ryan) Smithson and Amy Junco. Great grandchildren Sophia Wood, Grant Smithson, Ruby Matera, Camille Smithson and Nathaniel Dyer. Several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her daughter, Susan Meineker, her grandson Christopher Junco and her siblings John Hotaling, William L. Hotaling and Gloria Leonard. The family would like to thank the staff at the Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center - The Courtyard for their outstanding care and compassion while caring for Audrey. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Eddy DayBreak Adult Day Services 421 Columbia Street Ext., Cohoes, NY 12047. A memorial service is being planned for a later date
